Give Yourself Permission For Positivity

“Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.”
~ Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati

You – as everyone – are very busy. In fact, the word ‘busy’ is a common description we tend to share when someone innocently asks “How are you doing?”; the most common answer is “I am very busy.” When you share that answer, do you feel inclined to go into sharing details as to what is keeping you busy? Usually people share a little laugh and then, likely, go on with their shared communication and connection.

Being ‘busy’ keeps you out of being aware. Without awareness, you will continue to stay on the treadmill of being busy. However, in any case, you are always talking to yourself.

When you find the time to listen to your on-going self-dialogue, you may be surprised to find just how continuous it is… and, even more, that its tone is what influences your perception of the world around you.

When you have positive dialogue, the world seems to ‘sing’ with you; when you have negative dialogue, it’s a guarantee for a bad hair day and more.

By becoming consciously aware that this dialogue is happening, you can choose to shift it into a more positive experience. You can actually trigger greater positivity by giving yourself permission to have more positive dialogue with simple acknowledgements that literally take less than two seconds.

To give you a quickstart on some ideas you can use to have more positive self-talk, here are some ideas to ponder. In fact, try them out as you go to see how they feel… and, when you notice that your energy feels better, happier and / or lighter, that’s a good one to hold onto so you can use it again.
